How high it will fly

where it will go

these are things I’ll never know

but once a year I take the time to make the kite of

”letting go”

I take my time and search my mind for people…. places…. things that complicate my life

I list their names and descriptions and pray for each item listed

I attach a tail for stability and a ball of twine of a 1000 feet

head to the Ocean 🌊 where there is always a strong wind

praying I launch the kite 🪁 and it is soon soaring

doesn’t take long for the twine to comes to its end

I like feeling the tug on the line

when the “Spirit” moves me ….. I let go

walking and watching until it is gone
