It was my dream

now has become my scheme

to slay the miles and erase

the distance between

I suppose it quite possible in time that we may treasure this distance we left behind

to remind of the cost what was gained and what was lost

For rightfully so….. everything has a price

the price we paid is manifested in different ways

from people and things we left behind

Especially those we never supposed would act a certain way

Goes to show they we really only know a few people at best …. We just pretend it’s the other way

so of this purchase…. Indeed that is what it is

for it always cost when we reach out to really live

the fruit of this tree we both shall share

and live this exquisite life ….. because we dared

so I would not profess or suggest I waited patiently

but I think that light in the tunnel is a sign to me
