While you are sleeping

I’m the one dreaming

and it will have to do for now

but there will come a time

when we intertwine and become one

and that bound we build from touch and feel

will be a strong cord hard to separate

and we will laugh and cry about these times

when dreaming was the best we could do

and the price we now pay will seem trivial one day

when we make those dreams come true

there was a time when “ if “ was a line

but I think that word here has no place

for it is just a matter of Gods time when I will arrive

and start to put those dream in place

 No longer “if” but when
