When we’re alone

not so much …..off stage ….occasional rehearsals

but in the presence of others

curtain opens and the lights are up

the show is about to begin

–

as “ performance artists” we have to be fast on our feet and adaptable… those are key factors in the success of the performance 🎭

the dialogue must be loose and unrestricted until one can pinpoint the direction

then words are stepping stone to the desired outcome…… the art is getting the audience to follow without being tethered or dispatched

they must…. must feel comfortable and exercising their will and not the will you coaxed them to

sometimes the show is a flop…. You misread the attendees…… occasionally it is greeted with rave reviews and thunderous applause….

generally it’s a mixed bag and you got some of what you wanted …… but not everything

it is a very delicate art and one few even completely master

such is out lives….. as “Performance Artists”
