Be careful with your absolutes

some things change over time

I do believe that certain things

will remain unchanged in my mind

but I am also willing to admit that some are open for debate

those need not be set in stone……difficult to erase –

I have tenants that guide my course and keep my navigation in check….. those are welcome friends that hold my reins and keep my rudder straight

but I have learned to become patient and listen to those who possess the faith I seek

and set only those things in stone I am confident the future cannot break

Careful what you write in stone
