I hear the same people exhorting

“ live and let live”

as if they believed you have the right to believe what you believe and live the way you choose to live

but then at the other side of their mouth 👄 they are critical of people who disagree with them

so in reality it’s “ you do you…. And I’ll do me…. As long as you agree with me”

the real teachers aren’t preachers

and the real walkers aren’t talkers

they are focused on their lives and have little interest in orchestrating or organizing anything or anyone else….. period

so when I hear you spouting “ live and let live” my eyes get wide and my ears are directed…. Because odds are you want to believe it…… you are just struggling to live it

it’s my life…… it’s your life

shut up and live your life and I’ll live mine

I don’t have to like yours

you don’t have to like mine
