It is interesting as I stumble along

what I remember yesterday and long ago

I spend little time trying to recall

Thoughts come in a visit for awhile

today’s version of “ things you thought you forgot”

center around “ Martha” and her hat 👒

can’t remember what the meeting was for…. Or where it was at….. but I remember Martha …and her hat…..,

She exchanged pleasantries with a few …. A dozen nods and waves before that was through….. the meeting was called to order and everyone settled in……. But I never heard a word…. Wasn’t paying attention to them…..,

She turned her head from time to time

I think she knew by a vibe that she caught my eye

my attraction was from an investigative point of view …… she had a presence and air that was distinctive and sincere …… and I got the impression that her attire was for her …. Not for me or you

when the meeting was over ( excuse me I had to pee) and Martha was gone …. But not her indelible impression on me……
