Today…… I had it my way

and what a complete mess it’s been

I let a few things out of my control ruffle my feathers 🪶 and the landslide began

would have proved a better route to separate myself and let the situation have its way

but I had to represent myself and did nothing but get in the way

so if you feel the urgency to stand up for a cause

just make sure it for the cause

and not to have your way
