Every day people will ask you to swim

but it is hard to get out once you get in

won’t take long you’ll be living for them

when you thought you were taking just a little swim

–

see most people are afraid to swim by themselves

so they attach to someone else

and swimming through life is a tough job itself

let alone when you are carrying someone else

–

so I crawled out a few years ago

there was torrents of criticism laced with

“ sorry to see you go”

When I left the bowl it didn’t take long to see

I wasn’t living life

the “ bowl “ was living me

–

I still hear people are desperately trying to get in

sad that most don’t even know how to swim

but someone will grab them and pull them in

that arrangement will allow them to float

But they will always need someone to help them swim

–

my advice..   never get in the “fish bowl “
