If you found yourself in Paradise

would it be enough…….would it be have to be a “certain” type of paradise

would it have to be “perfect”

whatever “perfect” was for that day

when you see a kid in a threadbare tee shirt

sitting on a trash can with a hand in a dirty bowl 🥣

shoveling handfuls of rice as fast as he can swallow and his face is radiant as if he just hit the lottery

and it doesn’t give you pause to acknowledge how fortunate you are

I I don’t care to know you

Many of us live in an “unrecognized….. unappreciated……taken for granted Paradise but…  it’s missing a few things…..”

I’m guilty

and I try to catch myself and ask for forgiveness

welcome to Paradise….  time to accept it

then it will get get even better
