nothing will change….. no matter how many buckets 🪣 of tears ….. how many people you offend ….. won’t phase you….. won’t get under your skin

until

you disappoint yourself

We would hope we would regret people we upset

and

the trouble we put them through

sad to admit but it only has a little affect

until

we disappoint ourselves

Only then when the thick skin gets thin

and the recollection of wrongs comes crashing down like an avalanche

the strength to deny lies gasping by your side

you have no defense…… and you reflect

you begin to see how self centered and oblivious

you have been

then and only then will you admit defeat and start over again

when you are finally ready to admit

you are a disappointment

to yourself
