It’s challenging

to discover and/ or uncover things about others that are against your own personal beliefs

and

still treat them with respect and dignity

–

if we are determined to rid ourselves of others that don’t follow our personal opinions

• we miss and opportunity to learn how others think….. even though we reject their views
• we are not being true to ourselves because we are obviously fearful of their influence, not being comfortable with our positions

I like the 80/20 ratio for relationships and friendships on a personal level…..

I can operate in the scenario of 80% acceptable

20% objectionable

as far as regular and frequent interactions

anything off that scale is not interesting to me

–

doesn’t mean my respect or treatment of them is any different….. just choose not to spend extended periods of time with them

–

I am amazed at the many times I see people in situations they are noticeably uncomfortable in

so

Either something is wrong with their perspective or purpose for being there

or

the circumstances are such that they have no business being there in the first place

we tend to make so many things complicated that aren’t

Either we are afraid to disappoint others or afraid to be true to ourselves
