It’s time to go

back to skating on thin ice

but there’s a difference now

you’re sober

the call of the wild was bursting your ear drums…., impossible to ignore

–

no one is capable of gauging the repercussions of major changes

we end up shoring up our beliefs

or

dismantling them

–

in reality few people give a damn

the ones you thought were so sincere

turned out to be “great actors”

the possums that disguised their feelings flood you with undetected and unexpected emotions

–

we just aren’t good judges of character

but we like to think we are

–

we live in a “make believe world” because we have to

dealing with the reality of the fact that most people are busy trying to figure out what shoes to wear

your concerns aren’t on their radar

–

the “skinny” is this

if you have 5 people aka “friends” that will go to the mat with you

you are fortunate

if you think you have more than that

welcome to the land of “make believe “
