Being out on a limb is frightening to most people

but

a few of us have learned to be comfortable there

when you are willing to take calculated risks you quickly learn to expect the unexpected…. It is part of the scenario

winging it makes one be innovative and creative

on the spot is where it’s happening

right here…. Right now

before you ask…… yes I have fallen several times

and the journey down gave me insight to what was overlooked

the landing has broken bones and more painful long held beliefs that couldn’t stand the strain and were exposed as lacking substance

it has been hectic riding out the different winds of popular trends and the apparent disregard of reality but you learn when to hunker down and when to relax

If you don’t surrender to the taunting and comments of the “Land Dwellers”

you are rewarded with the opportunity to break out of the cocoon the world has determined to place you in and fly

this is that time ……. I did it ….. I didn’t surrender
