Now is all we have

we are not guaranteed today

I cannot live my life in regret nor change the coming days

I try to understand and appreciate people along the way

but I do not fret about those that are gone or those lost along the way

things could have been different….. some better and some worse

but everything happened just like it did… part of the plan and I am not haunted by memories that I cannot nor wish to change

so I thank everyone for giving or taking …. I am comfortable with who I am

you could have never lived my life and I could not have lived yours

so let’s agree you can’t read my mind and I can’t read yours

but if we could we might understand why I made my choices….. and you made yours
