The “flock” has gone through age or delays

some land in places and never get away

I keep flying because every nest that I’ve found demands that I stay tethered….. close to the ground

some give in afraid to be alone….. and some don’t fly enough to stay in flying form

but there is so much to see and I dare not postpone….. for I am not privy to how long I can go on

I’ve met stragglers like myself…. Many are bitter and blame someone else

but I have reasoned that circumstances or other birds 🦅 are not to fault for my situation…… they just never took off

Fear of flying has grounded many a good bird

but I’ d rather fly alone than to be with another bird that has come to place that their wings are still strong but they have forgotten how to sing
