The wisdom of children…. Best not to be overlooked

their understanding hasn’t been tainted with prejudice and fear

what they say is what they believe and not directed by what they think others want to hear

the unfiltered truth for most disappears when time grants them a few more years

then the wisdom they have gathered they do not comprehend because it is laced with half truths and lies

so they scoff at what the children say ….. because they know what in their hearts that innocence has been lost along the way

listen closely and carefully to children…. they are what you were once before succumbing to the good opinions of others…

reject what is selective in favor of kindness and compassion for all…. Children are the best teachers
