If you take the time to talk to a homeless person

you might be surprised at what you find

some have addiction issues

and many do not

the car broke down….. no way to get to work

didn’t have money for the repair…..

my wife got sick ….. I had to stay home…. No one else was there

I got laid off and the bills piled up and they foreclosed on the house

A fire started from a cigarette and insurance wouldn’t cover everything that was lost

you might find many of the people you write off as lazy or not responsible are actually just like you

but they got caught in the currents of life and many of us……including myself

we just don’t have a clue

 

it’s not that far away…… be grateful it isn’t you
