the only audience that matters

I cannot appease the changing ears of this world

but my voice you hear and you know my heart

and that is more than enough for me

for I know You listen Lord … You are always there for me

so forgive me for my inadequacies and my failure to heed your words

but I have determined who my audience is

and the angels up above

Grateful that you know my heart and the yearning of my soul

to give you praise and glory in my feeble attempts to thank you for Your Love

So I give up all my dreams in favor of Yours

for You know what is best for me when I fail to play the right chords

You know what is best for me ….. when I run out of words

the right audience is God
