My days have passed so fast

I have but few regrets

most of those revolve around

not being honest with myself

–

seems so insane the things

I tried so hard to convince

myself that weren’t right for me

But nevertheless I struggled along

until I was alone with me

but acceptance is a peculiar thing

that I at times have construed with “like”

and now to make peace with myself

An apostrophe seems right

to interject a positive turn that is neither left nor right

Right smack dab in the middle is a place I have longed to find

Apostrophe,………a good..place to be
