a voice i can hear, came soft and clear

i know it was arranged by God

in a non-threatening way he is able to say

” you are whacked and you are forgetting who is in charge”

in the past i would bristle up and feel my pride had been hurt

but that never got me anywhere

so perhaps it’s a combination of the two, i want to get better and the teacher appeared

so the voice i can hear is helping me steer away from the traps that i have placed

and i am beginning to see a different part of me

one i am beginning to like
