time away doesn’t change things, it changes you

when it’s time for a break, you know it and don’t ignore it

my perspective is like the windshield of my car after a while i need to clean it

just like my perspective

i do the day to day, lightly clear a spot so i can see where i’m going

but frequently i need to stop and do a deep cleaning to get the whole picture and the right perspective as opposed to my perspective

i’m human and i can fall prey to despair and misunderstanding when i am in a fear based position

so i remove myself from the everyday and from a different place i get to see a different side of me

the one that remembers, it’s okay and i’m where i’m supposed to be

same air as before, but it doesn’t seem that way
