The thing about life….. you just never know

sometimes it moves fast….and sometimes slow

and when you least expect it….because you never know

a bird 🦅 of the same feather lands at your door

they begin talking and the words sound like they are coming from you ….and you start thinking they are a lot like you

you were beginning to think you were an anomaly

but the bird that landed sends those thoughts away

people are afraid to be what they are supposed to be

the opinions of others have them trapped they will never be free

but this bird that landed stopped long enough for me to see

there really are birds out there…. Just like me
