I thought I spread my wings when I was younger

but I got caught in the riptide of other peoples lives

I don’t blame them….    I blame myself

I spent the majority of my life trying to be things I’m not

But I’m off the ground now..    this bird is in flight

don’t know when or if I come down

I suppose it will eventually be tied to Flying Fatigue and someone who can keep me grounded
