I was irritated at first when I was ushered to the corner for multiple infractions…

Over a few weeks I realized it was relaxing to be out of the classroom circus

we were kids….. loud kids…….unruly kids….obnoxious kids

to be away from the drama recentered me….redirected my nervousness to manageable levels..

l went to Mrs. Brown and ran the script by her. She found it interesting,   When I felt overwhelmed I could place myself in timeout. I was warned not to abuse our agreement….and I didn’t.

sailed through the rest of the year….

I didn’t forget how that worked for me and practice it all the time….gotta go
