One could aspire to live life without expectation

Accepting what is presented having no predetermined outcome

but that damn human element nudges and prods leaving a faint desire…….that left to its own forms into a hopeful end

that leads to a tightrope that spans across the unlikely to the impossible

so an aspiration to not interject but rather to accept

is a worthy goal few ever reach and fewer even consider

Desire is a double edged sword…….🗡️

motivates and often…….lacerates

Life without expectation is a long journey for me
but you have to start somewhere…….or not
