the night off

I promised not to say a word

or get anyone pissed off

Gabe said he would check on me

and not to wander off

so I’m sitting here writing a few lines

and the Angels have the night off

I never asked them to take the job

and there were no interviews

seems they were assigned and that’s what

Angels do.

Watch out for fools just like me and you

so every so often why I think I can pull it off

I really try to behave myself
