The World 🌎 of things has lost its bling

everything gets old and grey……like me

time gives us a choice….. to wear its marks with dignity and respect….. because we earned them

or

to be endlessly consumed with taking them away

fighting time is like a man urinating in the wind

it can change direction in a second

“things” have weight…..physically, emotionally

and particularly…….spiritually

As one is “graced” with age our strength is more measured as it is in a waning supply and we allocate only what is necessary

so it behooves me to give some thought about the things I carry

Grateful that most of the “things” I thought I missed

I didn’t need anyway

So it is with great rejoice that I was smart enough to make the choice

this world 🌎 of things has lost its “bling”

because nothing can compete with God’s jewels
