While sitting with my mother a very strange thing occurred

When food was placed before them I actually saw mannequins eat

I was astonished because no words had been uttered before

Mechanically they raised their forks and waited for the aides to cut their meat and to my surprise

mannequins can eat

So I wheeled my mother back to her room and didn’t mention that amazing scene

I can only hope when my time here is done…….I won’t join the mannequins …….they don’t seem to have much fun

but I saw it….. mannequins can eat
