We all have tendencies that are part of who and what we are

some are good and kind and some of them leave scars

But a sincere and honest appraisal of the person that we are will help us uncover the things that keep us from being the people we want to be

so I’m learning to work around myself until the changes I want to make take effect

so I’m changing the filters I use and I hope they reflect

the love and respect for others that I myself expect
