Tomorrow has nothing to offer me because it isn’t here

For all I know it may not exist for me, it may not even show

so I think it’s best for me to focus on today and do with it the best I can before it slips away

when my thoughts wander outside of the scope of today I leave myself open to disappointment when things don’t go my way

so I best be focused on what’s in front of me and do my best work today and let tomorrow be and if I am granted another….I intend to do the same
