I went to the beach we favored when we were together…..it has undergone quite a cleaning

The debris and wood from the various storms over the years has been removed and it reminded me that this change has been cleansing to me as well and from your comments seems you would agree

Nothing is guaranteed and everything requires maintenance and regular cleaning and it never happened

Everything was swept under the rug and you suggested if we didn’t pay any attention to it, it would go away

So much for that mentality

But I walked stoically for a bit until I realized it was still pristine and I was here and it would be a waste of time lamenting the past

I kept walking and I got stronger as I walked….

I’ll be okay and you’ll be okay

We just won’t be together

Keep walking you’ll get stronger
