Push On

Tho’ the cloak of darkness wraps us tightly in it’s grip……we rest and wait…. for an opportunity to slip

Away from its clutches and away from its grip…. for we are survivors and we push on

The first signs of morning find the darkness fast asleep and we separate ourselves from it and race into the streets

Gathering our senses we give ourselves a reprieve for once again we have stood the test and land standing on our feet

This world will often lull us with its lies and its deceit…. but the lessons we have learned from previous battles fought, the victory doesn’t go to the strongest, the victory goes to the smart.
