It seems apparent to me that we are transferring energy…..
I have experienced such events and it’s the result of concern, love, and respect or it can be negative and disparaging.
The advantage of emotional maturity is the ability to recognize the source and receive or reject..that is a choice I am offered if I take it.

I choose to gravitate to those that offer positive and constructive energy. There are and always will be those that offer the opposite. The best I can do is to disengage in love and not proliferate that negativity by trying to change those in that mindset.
A hard lesson, however that isn’t my place nor my job.

If….I am to excel in life I can only progress by sharing without expectation of what others have given to me.
