I knew when I started climbing this tree it would be a hard climb……why did I place the rope and start climbing……..I wanted to see what was at the top

so I took a calculated risk

once you have attempted a difficult climb…..the rewards are overwhelming whether you make it to the top or not…….

I know what you’re thinking so I’ll spare you the uncomfortable part of asking……..yes I’ve fallen……yes I’ve been hurt… but remember

my willingness to pursue the long shot has produced  many moments of despair and many moments of unexplainable ecstasy

remember it was a calculated risk and I have accepted that getting that perspective from the top begins by climbing up from the bottom
