We had candles but we couldn’t find a match

as the night grew darker and colder we intertwined and kept each other safe and warm

I kept fumbling around to where I thought I had dropped them and my fingers ran across the cover

i was just about to strike one and you said……

” I am warm and the light of the moon glitters off your eyes….  We are find and we don’t need the candle”……
