Life is that good…..we come back for more

the leaves of the big banana tree slap each other pushed by the wind and frozen…… they look weary and defeated…..as they were never intended to exist in the climate of Virginia…… but they do thrive from  April through November….until they succumb to the colder temperatures……. They tower at twenty feet and get bigger and taller every year…..and perhaps in the next few years they will offer fruit ?…..they will not resist the chain saw to their trunks……. For they accept that their cycle includes the dormant regrouping stage….. but they will be back…… because the warmth of spring temperatures  shake their roots and shout….”wake up and let’s see how far we can reach before the winter comes once again for us …….,..the months we have visiting with the world ? is too much to miss….come on back….for more….”
