not my place to criticize you                  tell you what to say                    what you should do

i am the one who needs to focus on me                       in regards to being the person i portray

not enough to sing the praises of what the Father has done for me                      people soon get tired and walk away                           from long-winded tales                          that don’t hold water

do it for you                 and you do it for me                         because we both live in an unforgiving world                            that needs and longs for                      forgiveness                          not my place                           to judge                          my place                                   to love
