a prerequisite to becoming an accomplished writer…..whatever avenue you choose is the skill of listening……….hold on………………..without thinking……

if you think you are a good listener because you don’t interrupt or wait to ask questions after someone finishes talking………………..great, you’re halfway there…………..now the hard part…..

the other half is not trying to process or dissect what is being said……………….until later……….that’s what notes are for……….not for your take or opinion…………………but to record……….the inspection and dismantling come later…………………..

to be heard is a primary….fundamental need for all…….stress ”all”……..is a desire to be heard………

nothing will take you to places you don’t want to miss…..faster than your undivided attention to others when they are sharing…………………take it to the bank……

in partnerships…….marriage…………friendship………..division resolution……………….respect…………….on and on……….

turn up the volume of your ears and turn off the speakers in your head………
