ownership is appropriate with regards to homes, cars, boats, pets, books, pictures, furniture…….etc…………

but not people………………………….

if we view partners as objects………..even objects we care for, look after and value…………….we are misconstruding a basic premise of love………………….voluntary consideration and respect for another not out of duty……….out of love

a mentor…………………….i have had dozens………………….they get old and die……………………told me if you can only love things you possess, you know little to nothing about the subject………………

that ultimate freeing feeling of giving with no expectation is the stuff that changes lives and novels are written about……..

witness a person that has little and gives a lot and there you will find a secure and happy person………………………….

the skinny is we own nothing,it is on loan from God……………..take care of what you have, give freely and know without a doubt that you can never out give God and your cup will never be empty if you share………………………….

if someone thinks you think you own them…………………….they may tolerate you and accomodate you…………………by they will never love you…………………
