the better part of you……………..is like the better part of me

wants to do the right thing and help others along the way

but that other part is there and wants to have it’s way……..generally selfish and self-centered and wants to be the center of everything

but i’m glad to be aware how sneaky that part can be and coax me into thinking that i need always to be thinking about me……….

but the better part of you brings the better part out of me and as long as we are friends…………………………

the better part will have it’s way
