encouraged as a child to stay within the lines

my job was to fill in the spaces with colors and designs

but there was so much wasted room begging to part of

i would color the entire page…………………to me it looked very good

my teacher would suggest that i resisted following the rules…….

to which i replied……………..”they work for you…………they don’t work for me”…………..

i have continued with this stand and it has allowed me to see……….wonders i would have never known if i always drew inside the lines………………………………………………………………\

there are no small rebellions………………….only small thinkers
