everyone is doing their best rendition of ”pretend”….wasn’t good now and it won’t be good then……………my oh my…………..what will happen when the truth finds a way to ease itself in…….i’m doing fine, actually thriving……………….because my happiness doesn’t depend on you…………..

several years ago it became clear to me…………….you were you and you couldn’t be me……………..i made a decision to let things be…………because my happiness doesn’t depend on you………

some would say ”cold” or ”indifferent” to which i now reply……….how much time have you spent trying to get others to say and do what you want them to do…………….only to be disappointed and your attempts…….fruitless……………………..

there is only so much time………..yours and mine……………i won’t try to tell you or anyone what to do what to do…………..as for me i will continue to be happy and free………………………….
