i sit by the window and the trees outline the sky………..occasionally a bird will appear overhead and fly by…………………………….i take this opportunity to put a gap in the flow…………………placing myself in time out……………………there is not great occasion at the root of this pause……not looking for excuses over things to avoid………..i have taken up this practice and it has served me well……..the assembly line is halted and it gives workers a spell……………….seems things remain linear not twisted in knots……………….a chance to remember things i forgot……………………..

when i was younger the task was done for me…………..when a teacher or worker sensed it was difficult to breathe………….they suggested i take a break and that was the remedy………….a chance to regroup and gather my wits and rejoin the function better equipped……………….after a time out……………………..

there is no shame to admit when your limit is reached…………takes a mature person to stop pushing before the damn finally breaks…………….i get along better with friends, family and foes………..when i am willing to turn off the engine and wait for a better time to go……………
