avalanche

the conditions were right on the mountain the temperatures where beginning to rise…………and i clearly heard the warnings but the mountain beckoned me to ride…………….i went to the top of the mountain, a small shovel strapped to my pack……………and as i quickly descended…………the mountain began to talk back……..soon it became louder and i knew it was no use to look back………i had carefully weighed the danger before i loaded my pack……….the mountain soon caught up with me and tossed me in the air……………covered me with a blanket of white and intended for me to rest there…………………….but i was quick with the shovel and dug a pocket to breathe and several hours later i was cold but walking in the trees………..i went into my cabin and i stripped down to the bone and said thank-you God for saving me……………..shaking my head and warming my hands………………………

i knew i would do it again
