i wish i could forget you…………………..but i can’t ………………………………….i wish i could forget the bars and wire and clanging doors, the long faces and wet eyes…………..but i can’t……………………i wish i could forget how leaving…………… brings back all the memories……….. how i placed myself in prison…………………………..how i struggled to hide as deep as i could in the covers and painfully pushed them from my face to begin the debacle again……………………over and over and over………………….like a broken record skipping in the background……………………………but i can’t…………………i can’t forget you,………………..because you are me……………………….just in different swings of the pendulum and i am reminded, but for a few different moments in our lives we are the same……………………………………….i miss you and can say that i am still learning hard lessons myself………………………lets leave it at that, i’ll see you as soon as i can and bring your wife…………………………………….pray for me and i will do the same for you
