i have witnessed the staves in the barrel over time, change their color and hue, the metal trim has rusted in spots and yet continues to hold fast and true, an although it has changed a bit it still does what it was designed to do.

i liken myself to the barrel i suppose my color has changed too, but i like to think despite it all, i still do what i was designed to do.

not as quick to throw a rebuttal when i hear something i oppose, try to keep my opinions to myself avoiding others toes……and try to see a situation from a different point of view, rarely does it change my mind, but it gives me something constructive to do.

i am just like that old barrel i can still hold my own, just a few nicks here and there and a difference in my tone………older but still useful.
