make peace with your past and the sting won’t last, from those memories painful to recall/ easier to retrace if a lesson was laced into the fabric of your soul/ we didn’t get it all right and we didn’t get it all wrong, we stumbled and rose and carried on/ the one thing we can’t change is the things we have done in the past/ and if we learned what we needed we can accept it and make peace with our past……..
