i firmly stand on my home plate, the living word of God.

i take the bat and the tools He provides and watch as the world throws the pitch.

i can choose when to engage and when to let it’s offers pass, i need not swing at every pitch, some are outside my expertise and some are just out of reach. if i am patient it never fails the right pitch will be thrown and i use my tools to swing the bat and round the bases……………………home.

the world is the pitcher and i am the batter at the plate and i have learned to be aware when the right pitch comes, to swing and not to wait.
