you criticize my faith and call it make believe / you talk about your struggles and it seems absurd to me/ you have known me for some time but you just refuse to see/ that God continues to do things i cannot do for me

what are you afraid of /i think setting your fears aside/because as long as you keep them, you have a place to hide/ the leap of faith one has to make is really not that hard/ unless of course you cannot fathom/ letting this power be in charge

my teacher suggests you will know them by their fruits/ no need to judge here, yours are tangled at the roots/ perhaps because the example that they see is bent on self-reliance and a skeptics lack of trust

carry on my wayward friend and deceive yourself and family into thinking that those who trust in an unseen God are avoiding reality
